IGFS 2018-The International Graduate Fashion Spectacle
IGFS is to bring together the international fashion graduates from around the world to showcase their best work together at a catwalk show and an exhibition in Sri Lanka. This will be an initiative for the young graduates to launch their creative talents internationally on one platform and the best of the graduates to be presented to the Apparel and Fashion industry globally. It will also be a promotion to each representative country across the globe through fashion which is initiated through France and Sri Lanka partnership.
This event will welcome international fashion graduates across the world from countries such as France, England, Russia, China, Peru, Sri Lanka, India, Greece, USA, Hungary, Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, UAE and many more.
For the selected designers a 4 (four) day program consisting of touring the city, participating at a fashion and apparel talk show, exploring the culture of Sri Lanka, meeting a French Artist and a live view painting of a wall art, experiencing of Sri Lankan food and showcasing at the Gala Fashion Show.
IGFS is founded by LIFT and Mod’Art International Sri Lanka and the project is partnered with the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka.
